·         Premier Laser Systems (09/97-5-98). Re-design of Corneal Topographer user interface, and port to 32-bit of its system software (in conjunction with NIDEK, Inc., Japan) (C++/MFC).

·         EyeSys Technologies, Inc. (8/92-2/96). Knowledge based systems to plan for refractive surgery and contact lens fitting (C++/MFC).

02/86-01/88: Tejas Controls:

Team leader for the design and implementation of a distributed data acquisition and control system (SCADA). Project included both software and design using the Intel 8031, 8088 and the Hitachi 64180, in 'C' & assembly. Developed real time operating systems, and implemented several communication protocols, data acquisition as well as control and test modules

03/85- 01/86: Flopetrol Johnston                        

Developed low level hardware drivers for a data acquisition package, on the RSX11-M PDP11 platform. Wrote specifications for a new down-hole measurement tool, and developed a PC-based device simulation package (in Assembly & C language).

09/81- 03/85: AMF Tuboscope                        

Developed a signal-processing package in C, to detect and classify pipeline flaws.

Developed a multiprocessor data acquisition system, for real-time pipeline wall thickness measurement.

  04/80-09/81: CRC Bethany

Team member in the development of a real time system for gas pipeline monitoring and leak detection. Developed data acquisition and display management software on an Eclipse Data General computer.
